My name is Scott Nimmo and I qualified as a veterinary surgeon from Glasgow University in 1980 and shortly afterwards built up my own successful veterinary practice which I ran for twenty five years. In April 2008 I sold my practice and moved abroad so I now have plenty of time to devote to this web site and my other Internet interests. My field of expertise is the treatment of dogs, cats, and smaller pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs. I also have a keen interest in the Internet and I established the first British veterinary web site in 1995, in the past I have written on veterinary matters and pet care for a number of paper publications including The Veterinary Record, The Veterinary Times and The South Woodham Focus.
